Speaker abstracts are now being accepted for the 2026 CHES Alberta Conference. The 2026 CHES Alberta conference theme is The Future of Care: Innovation, Technology & Humanity.
CHES members play a vital role in ensuring quality in our healthcare system. From patient experience to infection control, IT and what happens in the engineering, design and maintenance of our healthcare facilities has a profound impact on health outcomes and patient satisfaction. We are seeking leaders from Alberta and beyond to inspire, demonstrate, educate and share with CHES Alberta members the stories, tips, trials, methods and solutions to help us to improve the future of care for patient outcomes and patient experience.
CHES members are becoming recognized as key players within healthcare facilities. This conference will be key to Alberta’s success in this critical mission. The CHES Alberta 2026 education program will aim to give our members the knowledge and expertise critical for success. Other topics of interest include the impact of engineering, design and maintenance on other patient health outcomes as well as the patient’s experience within our healthcare facilities.
Accepted speakers will be notified by September 31, 2026. Bios and abstracts will be required at this time. Speakers are requested to electronically submit their complete PowerPoint presentations by September 15, 2026. Speakers shall agree to provide CHES Alberta with a signed release for video and future use of the presentation.
If selected, requirements will include submission of:
- Handouts/PowerPoint (distributed onsite at the session AND on the website)
- Signed Letter of Agreement
- Completed AV Form
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: September 15, 2026
